The Role

The Administrative Assistant / Receptionist at the DSG Head Office in Dublin Port.


Responsibilities;

  • Greet and welcome guests

  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls

  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material

  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail

  • Signing for small deliveries and forward to relevant departments.

  • Order front office supplies and keep an inventory of stock

  • Diary management and schedule meetings

  • Booking accommodation for visitors when requested

  • Ordering transport/taxis when requested

  • Organise the set up of teas and coffee for meetings.

  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required

  • The personal assistant aspect of the role will involve co-ordinating travel arrangements, administering appointments/meetings, letter writing, and any other such duties required.

The working hours of this position are - 08:30hrs to 17.00hrs, Monday to Friday.


Who We’re Looking For

The successful candidate will be highly customer service-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must also possess excellent organisational and administrative skills.


The successful candidate will also possess the following:

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent education standard
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written
  • Computer literate
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)


The successful candidate will need to have some previous experience in a similar environment (relevant areas: administration, receptionist, secretarial, personal assistant) and have completed some training in office administration or secretarial skills.
